OM 12 RC – Powershell Cmdlet Remove-SCOMDisabledClassInstance

This cmdlet deletes all class instances for which discovery has been disabled by using an override. All the relationships that involve these class instances are also deleted. This cmdlet give feed back, which is a good thing, start time and time completed can be handy. The SCOM 2007 R2 cmdlet Remove-DisabledMonitoringObject gave no feedback as to run time which was not at all helpful.

Now to automate this and put the run time into the opsmgr event log will have to be another post.
